The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCAP) is an over 600 page document discussing compliance regulations. During the LHPH virtual Summit, attorneys Ed Kaye and Sloan Schickler, partners at Schickler & Kaye, LLP, gave a great presentation summarizing the latest updates. In today’s world, there are many ways to communicate with your customer whether that be over the phone, text, email, or social media. There are very specific standards to how/when you can reach out to your customer. This infographic gives a visual representation of some of the many regulations discussed in the FDCPA.
